Fall Leaf Bouquet

November 26, 2015

Happy Thanksgiving! We are using this as our centerpiece for the Thanksgiving table this year. This leaf bouquet was my daughter’s idea. Here was her vision.

She was picking up leaves at school and they were so pretty, she wanted to make a bouquet out of them. A few days ago my daughters and I found some beautiful leaves and we stopped to pick them up. I thought sure they wouldn’t be still good by Thanksgiving but we put them in a plastic bag in the fridge (our downstairs fridge because our kitchen fridge is sooooo full of food for Thanksgiving dinner.) They kept amazingly well!

We collected leaves and put them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.

I used skewers to wire groups of leaves to so that they had some height. After I wired them I put strips of hot glue to be sure that everything held together.
